Action RPG 'Hundred Soul' announced a collaboration with 'Dragon Nest'.
First, Dragon Nest is an action RPG game developed by Eyedentity Games and launched in 2010. It gained great popularity not only in Korea but also in Japan, Taiwan, and East Asia regions after its launch. Especially in China, it recorded 700,000 simultaneous players and various games utilizing the Dragon Nest IP have been continuously released.
This 'Hundred Soul x Dragon Nest' collaboration holds more significance than just IP collaboration, as both Dragon Nest and Hundred Soul are titles overseen by Hound 13's CEO Park Jung-sik.
CEO Park, a former founding member of Eyedentity Games and the overall director of Dragon Nest, left the company and founded Hound 13 in 2014.
During the collaboration event in Hundred Soul, which will run for about 4 weeks, players can meet Dragon Nest's iconic heroes such as Dragon Knight Gerraint, and Argenta, and also Knights of Peace members Nerwin and Caracule, and even event manager Irene through costumes (skins).
CEO Park Jung-sik said, "It was a very enjoyable time working on the major characters of Dragon Nest after a long time. Please look forward to the cool action of the Dragon Nest characters who have returned as 8th spirits, unlike the original."
