• [MOBILE] Clover Games announced details of their new game 'Heaven Hells' at a press conference.

Clover Games held a preview event for their upcoming game 'Heaven Hells' at the H2 Studio on the 9th, unveiling key contents of the game including battles and systems for the first time.

The event invited selected users who applied for news updates through the official website, allowing them to directly experience key in-game contents such as the world view, combat system, and character concepts. The development team was present at the event to introduce the philosophy and development direction of 'Heaven Hells'.

■ Introduction to Heaven Hells

'Heaven Hells' is set in a virtual Tokyo where a dimensional rift 'Yeonok' occurred in 2056, depicting an urban fantasy world. Yeonok, inspired by Dante's 'Divine Comedy', is not just a simple dimensional rift, but a disaster caused by human desires and sins. This boundary space between hell and heaven, where salvation and destruction are both possible, becomes the central axis driving the conflict structure of the game.

After Yeonok opened, beings called 'demons' appeared throughout the city, leading the government to train special combat agents called 'Witches' to respond. Players take on the role of Commander Faust, who, like the Faust of the original story, made a pact with the 'Fate Board' and leads the Witches in the mission to reclaim Tokyo.

'Witches' are special combat agents composed of teenage girls, possessing unstable powers akin to demons from hell rather than holy powers. As their inner anxieties and conflicts surface in combat and daily life, players, as the Commander, deeply engage with their emotions. Players must resolve the dilemmas and conflicts of these girls, building deep bonds and ultimately saving them.

The combat in 'Heaven Hells' is conducted in real-time command mode, where players strategically combine positions and skills of each character to adapt to the situation. The combat is designed to have short unit times, with rapid sequences of condensed judgments like highlights.

To achieve this, skill cooldowns, timing of choices, character usage structures, and more are designed in a compressed manner, allowing players' commands to directly influence the flow of battle.

'Heaven Hells' focuses on reinterpreting the emotional lines, charm, and direction cues of heroines from past animations using modern technology and sensibility, starting from the question "why did we come to like certain characters?"

In particular, the character visuals excel in maximizing the synchronization between LD-style original paintings and 3D modeling. The direction and technology are organically designed to precisely implement the impressions of original paintings in motions, expressions, and cutscenes while smoothly transitioning the flow of emotions based on the gameplay situation.

This endeavor goes beyond just creating visually appealing characters, aiming to recreate 'heroines' that players can emotionally share and immerse themselves in.

■ Development Comments and Future Plans

The H2 Studio, which presented the announcement at the event venue, introduced 'Heaven Hells' as a project that started from the desire to truly recreate the things we sincerely loved. They stated that they are striving to implement the emotions and directing density expected by subculture fans without compromise.

'Heaven Hells' will conduct user-targeted tests before the official release, and CBT schedules and additional information will be announced later through official newsletters and Naver lounges.
