Hanbit Soft, the publisher, and IMC Games, the developer, announced that the PC online MMORPG 'Granado Espada' will release a new character named 'Codename J' after the maintenance on November 21, 2024.
According to Granado Espada, 'Codename J' is a character that uses cannons as weapons and has initially high technical abilities and decent stamina. It is possible to wear leather armor and metal armor.
'Codename J', a former soldier in Strata Vista, has a conflicting relationship with 'Orden', the owner of the wind, and the six commanders of Orden. Users can learn about detailed background stories through 'Codename J' sub-quests.
Codename J uses two stances. The basic stance, 'Carbine', consists of skills that launch powerful attacks on buildings with special projectiles. Moreover, when the rare stance, 'Arquebus', is opened, tactical ranged attacks can be made using a hand cannon.
In addition, using the job skill 'Artillery', buffs that enhance one's combat ability based on ballistics learned during military service are provided.
Codename J can be obtained through opening Linden boxes, and additional rewards and benefits are given according to the number of Linden box openings. More detailed information about the game and events can be found on the official website.
A Granado Espada official said, "Codename J is a character that appears as 'Jesus' in the Orden scenario and is familiar to users," and "We hope that users will be immersed in the story of Granado Espada along with the activities of Codename J, the cannon shooter who appears after a long time."
'Granado Espada' is a PC online game that adopted the MCC (Multi-Character Control) system, which is the first in Korea to operate three characters simultaneously, unlike typical MMORPGs that control and nurture one character. This game has received praise for its delicate and beautiful graphics with a European atmosphere, a barrack mode that allows characters to grow as designated characters of a chosen family, and combat modes that change with different weapon usage.
