Global game company Gravity is updating Episode 21 of the PC online MMORPG 'Ragnarok Online' on April 3 and conducting a commemorative event.
Episode 21 Hero's Age tells the story of traveling to the past where the Mage Nilem investigated a dimensional rift symptom on a small island in Eisgarn, leading to a battle with the Yormungandr sect. The new episode is set in the rural Alberta and Luna Poma areas during the era before the Rune-Midgard establishment, requiring players to complete the 'Undying' quest from Episode 20 with a level above 230 to access. Players can confirm prerequisite quests through the NPC Bokurind within the Ice Castle.
This episode can be started by talking to the Submarine Avin Supapa at the southern tip of the frozen tail. As players progress through the main quest, major dungeons like the Yormungandr's Temple Kimeulre and two new memorial dungeons 'Final Battle' and 'Memory Fragment of Gubalter Ho' will open up.
Clearing daily quests rewards the Wigner Upper Exchange Voucher, allowing players to exchange it for useful items like Geoborg Armor and Refining Hammer. The exchangeable items increase as reputation levels in the new episode rise.
Until April 17, Gravity is gifting the Kafra Buff, increasing experience and drop rates for 7 days upon clearing the main quests of Episode 21. Until April 30, daily special potions will be provided to all users logging into the game, and until May 1 maintenance, server-wide experience will be increased by 30%.
