HanbitSoft announced that the highly anticipated mobile MMORPG 'Granado Espada M', developed and set to be released by the company, has confirmed its release date to be February 22, 2024.
Granado Espada M unveiled an online showcase video with the release date and detailed game information on its official YouTube channel on January 26, 2024, at 3:00 PM. The showcase video can be watched again on the official YouTube channel.
This game is the first official mobile version title that inherits the IP of the PC online MMORPG 'Granado Espada', which won the Grand Prize at the 2006 Korea Game Awards.
The showcase video opened with the beautiful melody of the main OST 'Granado Espada', reinterpreted by the fusion Korean traditional music group 'Do'.
Subsequently, PD Andre Park, the developer of Granado Espada M, appeared as 'PD Andre Park' motivated by the original character Andre Janzur of the original Granado Espada, explaining the key features of the game, including the inheritance and differentiation factors from the PC original.
According to PD Andre Park, Granado Espada M has further developed elements such as high-quality BGM from the original, the 3MCC system that allows simultaneous control of three characters, and character recruitment.
In particular, most characters can be recruited through quests, while some specific characters can be obtained through persuasion. Persuasion requires persuasion tickets or free currency, and players can also use premium currency to immediately obtain characters.
PD Andre Park stated, "The gacha system for characters from the original will not be implemented in the mobile version," and emphasized, "Through this, we will strive to suppress the inflation of character abilities and pursue updates that reflect the personality and world view of the characters."
Furthermore, Granado Espada M boldly eliminated stress factors such as Attack Grade (ATK), Defense Grade (DEF), and Race Additional Damage (RAD) that were present in the original, and simplified the weapon system.
Along with this, new content tailored for the mobile environment has been added, including a trading system. Users can acquire a special currency through trading to purchase various premium items, including wings and pet summoning tickets.
PD Andre Park stated, "The trading system will continue to evolve through updates," and added, "Players will engage in more active gameplay by building ships, operating trade routes, engaging in battles with other factions' trade ships or pirate ships, etc."
He further mentioned, "A player-to-player marketplace system is also prepared, and we will update the situation accordingly," concluding that he and the development team will continue to work hard to improve the completeness of Granado Espada M.
